Those Remembered

ADOPTED INTO HEAVEN

	Cookie arrived very pregnant and had, had a rough life. She needed a c section to help her deliver her puppies and was spayed at that time. Sadly her babies didn't survive.  She arrived to us bony and in rough shape. Vet felt she was about 2 years old. Sadly Cookie had to be put to sleep due to severe diabetes and complications from that..  She was a very sweet girl and was able to experience what it was like to be loved while she was with us.  We will all miss her very much, RIP sweet one we will never forget you! (4/30/2013)

Pearl's smallest kitten:

One of the first 5 born (Keeko was last). He was black with no tail. He was so tiny that basically in all the ultrasounds and xrays, he was the questionable number 6. Sadly he had passed away not even a few hours old. We don't know if he had problems or was accedently squished. The vet did not know either. RIP little bitty. Although we never got to know you or your personality. You will be remembered.

Bunny: Received from a kill-shelter. She was the spunky one and loved attention. She got sick and took her to the vets to find out she had a mass near her heart. So she had to be put down.RIP Bunny we will miss you and your spunky personality. How you reached over to tap us when we fed you.

Charm: Got her out of a kill-shelter a day before she was put down while pregnant. She gave birth as soon as we got her to the rescue. She had 3 wonderful kittens (Panther, Cougar, and Puma) and took in 3 more (Pilot, Amellia, and Cloud). She was an excellent mom. She was spoiled too and gave her, her favorite canned food as she was a picky eater. Her babies finally were getting adopted and noticed she was getting smaller. She got rushed to the vets and the confirmed she had liver failure. She was only not even a year old. RIP Charm...You were a GREAT mom to the kittens. We will miss your charm and sweet personality.

Silvermist:

Silvermist came in with her mom Thumbalina from animal control. She was the little grumpy face =). She was the layed back one of the bunch. She ended up getting sick and took her to the vets who gave her antibiotics. For a week she did not respond, so went back to vets and got something else. Still no response. She would not eat and got so thin. Her siblings at time all got adopted while she was in a seperate kennel. When she got smaller we took her to the vets one last time. She had pnemonia and her body wasn't responding to anything that needed done. They tried for 2 weeks and nothing. Sadly she had to be put down. RIP Silver. We have grown so close to you. We tried everything to help you get better. You are so loved and miss the little grumpy face.

Tom and Jerry:  Born To Angel who is a young mommy bout 7-8 months old herself.  These 2 boys were her only babies but sadly they never thrived very well and despite vet care and round clock care both passed when only about 2 weeks old.  They both were already showing how loving they can be and fought hard to survive.

Elmo- born 4-12-12 to Heaven.  Had a difficult birth and had to be resusitated.  By 3 weeks old very obvious wasnt thriving like littermates and behing developmentally and physically.  Vet diagnosed neurological problem.  With special feedings and extra care he started thriving.  Sadly he lost his battle on 6-10-12 at 7 weeks old.  We will miss his cuddling and his purrs.
